I agree with you 100%! It is the way I have practiced for 40 years.

Well done and well said Dr Jay. I worked for 23 year as an osteopath in Italy and I knew and met many collegues or others profesionales in Healthcare like you describe well in your letter. I called them the empreneurs of the healt'factory. A order and organized process through the people leave there many many and nor earn more health. Working In a bright way it means being honest with yourself and at the same time with the others. So done, is not a job for everyone.

Well said,Doc! Agree 100%. We tend to be our own worst enemies. For decades I had a column in various chiropractic trade journals and wrote articles about professionalism in terms of how we speak to and treat our patients, how our dress and appearance affects how patients think and feel about us, etc. I hung up my spurs in December of 2023. I like to think I left my little corner of the profession better than I found it. That’s all anyone can do in the end. Take care and keep fighting the good fight!

To be precise, I m not advocating AGAINST recommending care plans per se, I just find those pre-pay 6k 20 visits for your adjustments and all therapies sickening. Especially if you are not delivering.
